Former Gov. Mike Huckabee is visiting Iowa from August 1-12, 2007.
On August 8 he plans a Meet Mike Huckabee event at Pizza Ranch in Spencer; a Meet Mike Huckabee event at Sumhing Chinese Restaurant in Algona; a Meet Mike Huckabee event on City Hall front lawn in Boone; and a Meet Mike Huckabee event at the Learning Resource Center in West Des Moines.
On August 9 he plans a Meet Mike Huckabee event at Memorial Park in Indianola; conference calls with media and bloggers; a Meet Mike Huckabee house party at the home of Ray and Hazel Anderson in Altoona; and a Meet Mike Huckabee event at Colby Park in Windsor Heights.
On August 10 he plans to spend the morning and early afternoon at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, including the Des Moines Register's Political Soap Box, guesting on "The Big Show" on WHO Radio; speaking at Divided We Fail's Republican Presidential Candidate Conversation on Health & Financial Security, and visiting popular fair sites. In the afternoon he plans to guest on the Steve Deace Show on WHO Radio.
On August 11 he plans to participate in the Iowa Republican Straw Poll on the Iowa State University campus in Ames.
